305.05 POSTING OF SIGNS AND SIGNALS REQUIRED.
   (a)    No provision of this chapter shall be effective until signs, signals, markings or other devices giving notice of such local traffic regulations are posted upon or at the entrance to the street or part thereof affected, as may be most appropriate, so that in a proper position they are sufficiently legible to be seen by an ordinarily observant person. (Adopting Ordinance)
   (b)    Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Traffic Code, following the designation of a fire lane, the Director of Public Safety shall serve notice, in writing, or cause to be notified in writing, the owner, or his authorized agent, the premises so designated as requiring certain fire lanes, of the exact nature and extent of the fire lanes. The owner or his authorized agent shall place or cause to be placed or erected, adequate signs and markers to notify all persons of the existence and extent of such fire lane not later than ninety days after receipt of notice. The owner or his authorized agent shall maintain or cause such signs and markers to be maintained in legible condition.
The design and location of the signs and markers shall be specified by the Director of Public Safety. The specifications therefor shall not be less than those required for such signs and markers on public highways, as set forth by the Ohio Department of Transportation.
