The Building Director shall be selected on the basis of his or her executive and administrative qualifications with special reference to experience in and knowledge of accepted practices in respect to the duties of the office. He or she shall not be required to be an engineer, but shall possess at least a Class I Building certification from the State of Ohio Board of Building Standards. (Amended 11-5-02.)
