Clerk of Council shall be appointed, and may be removed, by three fourths (3/4) affirmative vote of Council.
The Clerk of Council shall:
A. Keep accurate and complete minutes of all proceedings of Council as required by the laws of Ohio;
B. Authenticate documents by his or her signature;
C. Have custody of all ordinances and resolutions of Council;
D. Have custody of all official documents, reports, papers, communications, and files of Council; and
E. Perform such other duties as Council shall require.
During the temporary absence or incapacitation of the Clerk of Council, Council shall appoint someone to perform all of the duties of the office, as determined by Council.
