(a) It shall be unlawful for any person owning private property in the City, or any person owning or having custody of any junked motor vehicle or motor vehicle accessories, to store or permit any junked motor vehicle or motor vehicle accessories to be stored on any private property within the City. Any person receiving a notice requiring removal of any junked motor vehicle or motor vehicle accessories from the City Building Department shall have thirty (30) days to remove such vehicle or accessories or be subject to penalty. The storage of junked motor vehicles or motor vehicle accessories is declared to be a public nuisance and such vehicles or accessories may be abated or removed and penalties imposed as provided in this chapter.
(b) It shall be unlawful for any person, after notice to remove any junked motor vehicle or motor vehicle accessories from any private property has been given by the City Building Department, to move such vehicle or accessories to any other private property in the City upon which such storage is not permitted or onto any public highway or other public property for purposes of storage.
