1311.01 STOP ORDERS.
   When the work for which any building permit was issued is not being performed in conformity with the detailed statement or plans upon which such permit was issued, or is proceeding with out required permits or approvals or is in violation of any provisions of this Building Code, it shall be the duty of the Building Director to notify the owner or owners, or his or their agent, in writing, by posting a notice on the building for which the permit is issued, that the work is being constructed in violation of the permit, and that such work shall be stopped immediately and suspended until a permit for such deviation from the detailed statement or plans is obtained, or that such work shall be made to conform to the detailed statement or plans upon which a permit therefor was issued. If the owner or owners, or his or their agent, fail to comply with such notice on the posting thereof, the Director may cause the person violating his stop order to be cited for a criminal offense as prescribed herein, or as elsewhere established in the codified ordinances of the City of Streetsboro revoke such permit in the manner set forth below.
