Before demolishing any building or structure, all existing utilities shall be removed or disconnected from the building or structure. Where a sewer line is existing, such sewer shall be plugged with a concrete stopper. All water lines to the building or structure shall be shut off at the curb stop. The Building Director may require additional work to insure the property does not create a hazard or be detrimental to the health, safety and welfare of the public.
