Any person, firm or corporation performing work in the City without having a current and valid registration certificate may be ordered to stop all work in progress by the Building Director and/or his assignees until proper registration, bond and insurance is obtained. The Building Director and/or his assignees may, if the condition or situation warrants, obtain the assistance of other governmental agencies in the enforcement of this section.
