The Building Director shall have the duties set forth in Section 11.04 of the City Charter, for the examination of plans, the issuance or refusal of permits under applicable provisions of City ordinances and State laws, the inspection of buildings, and such other powers as are now or may hereafter be conferred upon zoning or building inspectors, plumbing inspectors, electrical inspectors, or sprinkler inspectors by City ordinances or State laws. Such inspectors shall have similar powers and shall exercise the same under the supervision and control of the Building Director.
