(a) All work for which a permit is required and obtained after the effective date of this Building Code shall be performed in compliance with this Code and other applicable provisions of the Codified Ordinances of the city of Streetsboro, if any.
(b) Work for which a permit was obtained prior to the effective date of this Building Code may be completed in conformity with such permit; such work shall be subject to the provisions of this Code applicable to existing buildings and structures.
