(a) All suppliers of water for human consumption within the City shall include in the water supplied an anti-corrosive chemical known as sodium hexameta phosphate.
(b) The quantity of sodium hexamenta phosphate shall be sufficient to cause the water supplied for human consumption within the City to achieve the benefit of avoiding corrosion and yet be safe enough so as not to endanger the health of consumers of such water.
(c) Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
