FLOOR SHEATHING
A. Insert Subsection R-502.14 Engineered Wood Products Spacing:
R-502.14 Engineered Wood Products Spacing: All pre-manufactured wood floor assemblies shall meet the minimum live load deflection L/480. All trusses shall have metal gussets. Floor trusses shall be designed for a floor load of L/480.
B. Subsection R-503.1 Lumber Sheathing
Add the following sentence: A minimum of 3/4" tongue and groove plywood or OSB sub-floor nailed and glued to floor joists shall be provided except as shown for larger thickness.
C. Subsection R-503.3 Particleboard:
Delete the text in this subsection in its entirety and insert the following:
R-503.3 PARTICLEBOARD: Particleboard shall not be used for floor underlayment and sub-floor and combined sub-floor-underlayment.
