The National Fire Protection Association Standard No. 70-2017, National Electrical Code, published by the National Fire Protection Association is hereby adopted and to be known as the Electrical Code for the Village of Streamwood, Illinois. The purpose of this Code is the practical safeguarding of persons and property from hazards arising from the use of electricity. The Electrical Code shall be enforced for new and existing installation.
A. The regulations, provisions, conditions of terms of the National Electrical Code are hereby adopted by reference, as if fully set out herein, with the changes, modifications, and exceptions as hereinafter set forth.
