SNOW LOADS
A. Subsection 1608.2
1608.2 Ground Snow Loads:
Add sentences: The 100-year mean recurrence interval shall be used for all buildings and structures. The Village of Streamwood shall be considered to be in the thirty (30) pound-force per square foot category in figure 1608.2. The snow load design used for temporary buildings shall be approved by the Building Official.
AMENDMENT TO SECTION 1609
WIND LOADS
A. Subsection 1609.3
1609.3 Basic Wind Speed:
Add sentence: The basic wind speed, in miles per hour, to be used within the Village of Streamwood for buildings and structures shall be ninety (90) mph as determined by Figure 1112.3.2.
B. Subsection 1612.3
1612.3 Establishment of flood hazard areas:
Insert (VILLAGE OF STREAMWOOD) under NAME OF JURISDICATION.
Insert 8-19-2008 under DATE OF ISSUANCE.
AMENDMENT TO SECTION 1805
DAMPPROOFING AND WATERPROOFING
A. Subsection 1805.4.4 Basements; Crawl Spaces
1805.4.4 Basements and crawl spaces: Basement and crawl space foundations shall have approved subsoil foundation drain tile. Discharged in an approved manner.
B. Subsection 1805.4.5 Prohibited Connections
1805.4.5 Prohibited Connection: A subsoil foundation drain tile shall not be connected to the sanitary sewer line.
