AMENDMENT TO SECTION 718
CONCEALED SPACES
A. Subsection 718.3.2 Groups R-1, R-2, R-3 and R-4:
Add: Fire stopping: All new pre-manufactured wood floor assemblies with open webs shall be fire stopped for each eight (8) feet of span with solid fire stopping materials the full depth of joists according to Subsection 718.2.1 Draft stopping shall be installed so that the horizontal floor areas do not exceed 1,000 square feet in area.
