For the purpose of establishing minimum regulations governing the design construction, alteration, enlargement, repair, removal, demolition, equipment, use and occupancy, location and maintenance of buildings and structures; providing for the issuance of permits, collection of fees, making of inspections; providing penalties for the violation thereof; there is hereby adopted The International Building Code, 2018 published by the International Code Council, including Appendix B, F, H, I and J shall be hence forth known as the Building Code of the Village of Streamwood, Illinois together with all appendices, except such portions thereof as are hereinafter expressly deleted, modified or amended.
