6-3-1: FIRE HYDRANTS:
   A.   Obstruction Prohibited: It shall be unlawful for any person, in any manner, to obstruct the use of any fire hydrant or have or place any materials in front thereof or within ten feet (10') from either side thereof.
   B.   Removal Of Obstruction: The Fire Chief or any member of the Police or Fire Department shall remove or cause to be removed any and all obstructions found to be obstructing any fire hydrant or from ten feet (10') from either side of such fire hydrants. Such obstruction shall be moved at the cost and expense of the owner or claimant of the obstruction.
   C.   Illegal Use And Tampering: It shall be unlawful for persons, other than members of duly organized operating Volunteer and Regular Fire Departments, Public Works employees of the Village, or members of the Police Department to use water from any fire hydrant connected with the water supply in the Village, except for extinguishing fires or unless expressly authorized by the Village Director of Public Works.
