A. There is hereby created in the fire department of the village a position of paramedic which shall be compensated at salary grade as set forth by the union contract.
B. The primary duties of the paramedic shall be to provide mobile intensive care ambulance coverage as a state certified paramedic and perform other related duties as described in the job description by the village manager and fire chief.
C. A paramedic must be a state certified paramedic. (1994 Code)
