5-3-14: PARKING ON PROPERTY OF ANOTHER:
   A.   It is unlawful for any person to enter upon the land or any part thereof of another with a motor vehicle after receiving, immediately prior to such entry, notice from the owner or occupant that such entry is forbidden, or to remain upon the land of another after receiving notice from the owner or occupant to depart.
   B.   A person has received notice from the owner or occupant, within the meaning of this section, if he has been notified personally either orally or in writing, or if a printed or written notice forbidding such entry has been conspicuously posted or exhibited at the main entrance to such land or the forbidden part thereof.
   C.   The police department is authorized to have said motor vehicle towed and removed to a place of safety, upon complaint of the owner or occupant in charge of the land that said motor vehicle has unlawfully entered said land.
   D.   Before the release of said vehicle to the owner, the owner shall cause to be paid to the village all charges incurred in the removal of said vehicle in accordance with any section regarding semitrailers. (1994 Code)
