4-2-6: KEEPING OF ANIMALS AND REPTILES:
   A.   No person shall keep or permit to be kept on his premises any wild or vicious animal for display or for exhibition purposes, whether gratuitously or for a fee. This section shall not be construed to apply to zoological parks, performing animal exhibitions or circuses.
   B.   No person shall keep or permit to be kept any wild animal, poisonous or dangerous reptiles. (1994 Code; amd. Ord. 2001-45, 10-4-2001)
   C.   Nothing in this section shall be deemed to prohibit the possession and keeping of any animal, fowl, amphibian, or reptile kept pursuant to applicable federal or state issued permit or license; provided the keeping of such animal, fowl, amphibian or reptile remains an accessory land use.    D.   It is prohibited to harbor or keep any live horse, cattle, swine, sheep or goat, or to raise any chickens or fowl anywhere in the village. Exceptions to this subsection are animals kept in agriculture zoning districts or as allowed under special use. (1994 Code; amd. Ord. 2001-45, 10-4-2001)
