For the purpose of establishing minimum regulations governing the design construction, alteration, enlargement, repair, removal, demolition, equipment, use and occupancy, location and maintenance of existing buildings and structures; providing for the issuance of permits, collection of fees, making of inspections; providing penalties for the violation thereof; there is hereby adopted The International Existing Building Code, 2018 published by the International Code Council shall be hence forth known as the Existing Building Code of the Village of Streamwood, Illinois, except such portions thereof as are hereinafter expressly deleted, modified or amended.
