A. All annual licenses shall terminate on December 31, where no provision to the contrary is made. The Village Clerk shall mail to all licensees of the Village a statement of the time of expiration of the license held by the licensee; if an annual license, three (3) weeks prior to the date of such expiration. Provided, that a failure to send out such notice, or the failure of the licensee to receive such statement shall not excuse the licensee from failure to obtain a new license, or a renewal thereof, nor shall it be a defense in an action for operation without a license.
B. No license shall be renewed if the licensee has failed to pay any judgment or fine due and owing to the Village or if the licensee is in arrears in the payment of any penalty, tax or other indebtedness or charge due and owing to the Village. (Ord. 2018-3, 1-18-2018)
