373.13 RIDING ON ROADWAYS AND BICYCLE PATHS.
   (a)   Whenever a useable path for riding bicycles has been provided adjacent to a roadway, bicycle riders shall use the paths and shall not use the roadway.
   (b)   Wherever a section of the roadway has been specifically marked for bicycle use, bicycle riders shall use the marked area for normal movement along the street.
   (c)   No person shall ride a bicycle other than in the direction of vehicular travel.

   (d)   Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
