(a) No person charged with violating any provision of this Traffic Code shall accept or present a citation notice or file a written plea of guilty under a name other than his correct and true name. (1979 Code 70.08)
(b) No person shall knowingly present, display or orally communicate a false name, social security number or date of birth to a law enforcement officer who is in the process of issuing to the person a traffic ticket or complaint.

(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
