As of January 1, 2021, the Commission shall have not fewer than ten (10) and no more than thirteen (13) members, which shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Council. All appointments to the Commission made after January 1, 2021 shall be for five (5) year terms. All appointments made prior to January 1, 2021 shall continue to serve out the remainder of their term and upon the expiration of their term they may seek reappointment, or a new member may be appointed at that time. A vacancy occurring during the term of any member of the Arts Commission shall be filled for the unexpired term in the manner authorized for an original appointment.
