(a) In addition to the Fire Chief and Acting Fire Chief, the Fire Department shall consist of the following fire force:
(1) Not more than two Division Fire Chiefs.
(2) Not more than one Fire Marshal.
(3) Not more than eight Captains.
(4) Not more than thirteen Lieutenants.
(5) Not more than sixty Firefighters/Paramedics.
(6) Part time Firefighters/Paramedics as needed.
(b) All members of the fire force shall be appointed by the Mayor, acting as Director of Public Safety, subject only to applicable civil service provisions of the City Charter.
(c) All members of the fire force shall be in the classified service.
