(a) The powers herein granted to the Special Police, known as plant protection guards, shall extend only to private premises and hot pursuit from private premises. Further, the rights, privileges, immunities and obligations herein granted to these plant protection guards shall be effective only so long as the permittee is employed by private business interests to act as a security policeman, and these privileges shall terminate at the death, retirement or end of tenure for any cause of the permittee.
(b) The permittee, acting as a security policeman for a private business, shall carry upon his person a badge, along with other credentials to be furnished by the private business, which shall specify the police capacity of the permittee. In addition, if the permittee is in uniform, he shall wear, upon his left shoulder, an identification shield designating the identity of the employer.
