175.04 DUTIES OF THE COMMISSION.  
   The Senior Citizens Commission shall have the following duties:
   (a)   Investigate, plan, coordinate, and make recommendations to the City government for changing needs in senior citizen services; and
   (b)   Assist the City government in the evaluation of the feasibility of    establishing a Senior Citizens' Center in Stow under the auspices of the City; and
   (c)   Promote an awareness of senior citizen activities and services, so as to increase the number of our senior citizens that participate in and have access to programs for seniors; and
   (d)   Act as a liaison on behalf of the City government to individuals and organizations concerned with senior citizen services; and    Undertake tasks at the request of the Mayor and/or City Council deemed to be in the interests of senior citizens in the City of Stow; and
   (e)   Undertake any other matters which are pertinent to the quality of life and the protection of the health, safety and welfare of senior citizens in the City of Stow.
