No person, firm or corporation shall use, sell or offer for sale any type of fire extinguisher within the City unless that extinguisher bears the seal of approval of Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., or that of any other recognized testing laboratory, which shall be authenticated by the Fire Marshal of the City. Proof of test results and labeling of all fire extinguishers shall be required if the Fire Marshal deems it necessary in order to approve the fire extinguisher for use, for sale or for offering for sale within the City. Extinguishers of the vaporizing liquid type shall not be used, sold, or offered for sale within the City.
