1309.05 ENGINEERING PERMIT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF IMPROVED LAND.
When additional development of previously improved land is proposed, subsequent to any required Planning Commission or Council approvals, such as building additions, new parking lots or an increase in size of the existing parking lot, regrading or any other improvements which may increase or accelerate the amount of storm water that leaves a property, the developer or owner shall submit improvement plans to the City Engineer for review and approval. If deemed necessary by the City Engineer, a storm water management system shall be required so as to control such storm water run-off. An engineering permit shall be issued for such work (which would include the parking lot changes, if applicable) and the fee for the permit shall be seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) for every $1,000 valuation of such work (storm water management system, storm sewer work, regrading and parking lots, whichever is applicable), or fraction thereof, as verified by the City Engineer.
