951.02 SUPERVISION AND MANAGEMENT; AUTHORITY OF CEMETERY SPECIALIST AND SERVICE DIRECTOR.
   (a)   The Cemetery Specialist shall be the supervisor of all municipal cemeteries and shall be responsible for the control, management and regulation thereof, subject to the policy making, planning and administrative power vested in the Cemetery Board by Section 14.03 of the City Charter and to the authority of the Director of Public Service as set forth in Section 7.03 of the City Charter.
   (b)   The Cemetery Specialist shall direct and control all improvements or work in the municipal cemeteries, and all embellishment thereof and graves and lots therein, all of which shall conform to the planning, diagrams and layouts prepared by the Board.
   (c)   The Cemetery Specialist shall supervise burials, the digging of graves, the installation of tombs or vaults, the placement of foundation for any monument, tomb or vault, the location of gravestones and gravemarkers and any disinterment.
   (d)   The Cemetery Specialist shall, from time to time, arrange for the removal of all potted and artificial flowers and adornments which are untidy, decayed, faded or decomposed.
   (e)   In cooperation with the office clerk designated by the Director of Public Service to handle cemetery matters, the Cemetery Specialist shall prepare monthly reports, in writing, detailing all matters relating to the cemeteries during that period and such additional information as the Board may require. Copies thereof shall be made for members of the Board, members of Council, the Mayor, the Director of Finance and the Director of Public Service.
   (f)   The Cemetery Specialist shall perform such additional duties pertaining to the use and benefit of the cemeteries as the Board or the Director of Public Service may designate.
