All late night retail establishments and late night gasoline stations and vehicular service stations shall do the following:
(a) Post a sign in the window which is conspicuous and states that there is a safe on the premises and it is not accessible to the employees on the premises.
(b) Post a sign in the window which is conspicuous and states that the cash register has fifty dollars ($50.00) or less in it.
(c) Arrange the signs and displays so as to provide a clear and unobstructed view of the interior of the store. In no case shall signs or any displays obstruct the view of the register from the street.
(d) Have a drop-safe on the premises which is bolted to the floor, installed in the floor, weighs at least 500 pounds, or is otherwise adequately secured and approved by the Police Department.
(e) Position all registers so that they are visible from the street.
(f) The entire area utilized by customers of the late night retail establishment or late night gasoline stations or vehicular service stations to park their cars must be lighted and maintained at a minimum of five footcandles. The level of lighting shall be measured at thirty inches from the surface of the parking area.
(g) Be equipped with a continuous operation video monotoring system that records twenty-four hours a day.
(h) If fewer than two employees are working between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., any employee operating a cash register/cash registers must conduct business from:
(1) A pay booth; or
(2) By means of a pay and/or merchandise drawer or opening.
(i) The following procedures are strongly recommended:
(1) An electronic alarm system that is directly connected to a monitoring system.
(2) Each employee who is on duty to have in the employee's possession an alarm actuation device.
(3) Each cash register equipped with bill clip system that will actuate the alarm system.
