Section 1. Incorporation and Corporate Powers.
   The Town of Stoneville, heretofore incorporated by the General Assembly, shall continue to operate as a body politic and corporate under the name of the “Town of Stoneville.” Under that name, the inhabitants of the Town of Stoneville have all the powers, duties, rights, privileges and immunities conferred and imposed on cities by the general law of North Carolina, by local law and by this Charter.
