§ 53.13  EMERGENCY TERMINATION OF SERVICE.
If it is determined by the Director that a cross connection or an emergency endangers public health safety or welfare and creates an imminent hazard in violation of this chapter, or if the customer refuses to allow the Director to have access during normal working hours to perform any duty imposed upon him or her by this chapter, the customer’s water service may be immediately terminated. As soon as practicable thereafter, the town will provide the customer with a notice of violation. Within ten days of date of the notice of violation, the customer shall have a hearing before the Director. The hearing shall conform to all existing due process requirements.
