(A) No person shall take or carry away water from any fire hydrant, public fountain, plug, street washer or other public place, except for firefighting purposes, without prior approval of the Town Manager or his or her designee.
(B) Any person receiving water in any manner as described above shall receive the water through a water meter provided by the town and shall pay for the water received in accordance with the water rates in effect at the time.
