(A) Responsibilities and duties of Division.
(1) The Communications Division shall be required to perform all duties and related duties as set forth by state statute and village codes and ordinances.
(2) Any and all duties as directed by the Director of Public Safety.
(B) Required personnel.
(1) There shall be one Supervisor of Dispatchers appointed by the Mayor with advice and consent of the Board of Trustees whose duties and job description shall be set forth by the Director of Public Safety and may be amended from time to time and whose immediate supervisor shall be the Assistant Director of Public Safety.
(2) The Mayor, upon request from the Director of Public Safety, may appoint the necessary amount of radio dispatchers as may be needed from time to time by the Public Safety Department.
