§ 156.03 BUILDING INSPECTOR; DUTIES.
   (A)   The Building Inspector shall be responsible for fulfilling all of the duties listed in § 156.04.
   (B)   To fulfill those duties, the Building Inspector first should use the criteria listed in § 156.05 to determine whether the development site is located within a floodplain.
   (C)   Once it has been determined that a site is located within a floodplain, the Building Inspector determine whether the development site is within a flood fringe, a designated floodway or within a SFHA or floodplain for which no floodway has been identified.
      (1)   If the site is within a flood fringe, the Building Inspector shall require that the minimum requirements of §§ 156.25 through 156.28 be met.
      (2)   If the site is within a floodway, the Building Inspector shall require that the minimum requirements of §§ 156.40 through 156.42 be met.
      (3)   If the site is located within a SFHA or floodplain for which no detailed study has been completed and approved, the Building Inspector shall require that the minimum requirements of §§ 156.55 through 156.57 be met.
   (D)   In addition, the general requirements of §§ 156.70 through 156.73 shall be met for all developments meeting the requirements of §§ 156.25 through 156.28, 156.40 through 156.42 or 156.55 through 156.57.
   (E)   The Building Inspector shall assure that all subdivision proposals shall meet the requirements of § 156.06.
   (F)   If a variance is to be granted for a proposal, the Building Inspector shall review the requirements of § 156.07 to make sure they are met. In addition, the Building Inspector shall complete all notification requirements.
   (G)   In order to assure that property owners obtain permits as required in this chapter, the village may take any and all actions as outlined in § 156.99.
