(A) Upon receipt of an application for permit under this subchapter, the Village Board of Trustees may make or cause to be made by any investigation the Board shall deem necessary in order to determine the proposed solicitation is to be conducted for a purpose permitted hereunder and that the proceeds from the solicitation shall be so used.
(B) The Board may approve an application and certify the fact to the Clerk if the Board is satisfied the cause for which the solicitation is to be made is in fact for a purpose permitted hereunder.
