§ 110.082 EXPIRATION.
   (A)   Permits for each sign, except temporary signs, shall expire April 30 following the date of issuance.
   (B)   Permits for temporary signs shall be issued for a maximum of 60 days each calendar year per location. No more than one temporary sign shall be permitted at any one location at any one time. Display periods of less than 60 days shall be permitted; provided, there is an intervening period of not less than 30 days between display periods. A separate application and permit shall be required for each display period, which shall be accompanied by a $250 cash bond refundable at the expiration of each display period; provided, the sign has been removed. The cash bond shall be forfeited in the event the sign has not been removed at the expiration of the permit period.
   (C)   The Village Clerk shall renew automatically a sign permit for an additional year up to four calendar years from application upon the Clerk’s determination the sign does not violate any applicable requirement of this subchapter. The Building Commissioner may inspect each sign on a yearly basis to determine if the permit should be automatically renewed.
   (D)   A sign existing on the date of passage and approval of this subchapter, which has been determined to be a non-conforming sign for failure to comply with the provisions hereof, shall be brought into conformity therewith no more than one year from the date of passage and approval of this subchapter.
