(A) It shall be the duty of the Village Health Officer and the Health Officer’s assistants to notify in writing the owner and/or occupant of any property within the village of any evidence there are rodents feeding or breeding on the property. The Health Officer, or the Health Officer’s assistant, shall reexamine the property ten days after delivering the aforementioned notice to ascertain whether the problem has been abated.
(B) Where a rodent problem has not been abated within the limits prescribed in division (A) above, the Health Officer shall make immediate arrangements to abate the problem.
