For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
MOTOR VEHICLE. Includes automobiles, locomobiles and all other vehicles propelled otherwise than by muscular power, except traction engine and road rollers, the cars of electric and steam railways, and other motor vehicles running only upon rails or tracks, but nothing in this subchapter shall be construed to affect bicycles or tricycles or other vehicles propelled exclusively by muscular power.
