No person shall construct a driveway for vehicles or animals across any sidewalk in the Village without first having obtained a permit therefor. Application for such permit shall be made to the Village Clerk.
No permit for construction of a driveway for commercial use or for the habitual use of other than the owner or occupant of the premises served shall be issued except upon the order of the Village President and Board of Trustees. All permits shall be subject to approval of the President and Board of Trustees. (1966 Code, §8.201)
