Auxiliary policemen, prior to entering upon any of their duties, shall receive a course of training in the use of weapons and other police procedures by the chief of police of the village or his designee, and shall familiarize themselves with and be subject to and obey all ordinances and other rules, regulations, policies and procedures governing the conduct and operation of the regular police department of the village.
