4-1-8-3: NOT MEMBERS OF POLICE DEPARTMENT; UNIFORM:
Auxiliary policemen shall not be members of the regular police department of the village but shall wear a uniform and identification symbol prescribed by the chief of police, which uniform and symbol shall be different and distinct from that worn by the members of the regular police department. (1982 Code)
