901.20 OPENINGS FOR WATER OR GAS.

Every opening in any street, alley or sidewalk for a stop cock for water or gas shall be kept securely covered by an iron cover, which in no case shall project more than one-half inch above the surrounding surface of any street, alley or sidewalk. The City Manager shall enforce this section. (1972 Code §18-1-24.)
