No person shall permit any ice or snow to remain upon the sidewalk or pavement in front of any lot or premises owned or occupied by him for a longer period than two hours or after 10:00 a.m. of any day, if such snow fell upon such sidewalk or pavement during the nighttime. To provide that sidewalks be kept in good repair the adjoining owner and or occupant of the house adjoining any sidewalks shall have the sole and exclusive duty to keep said sidewalks in good repair. If the landowner or occupant breaches that duty to keep said sidewalks in good repair, said landowner or occupant will be liable to those who are injured on said sidewalk. (Ord.2000-6. Passed 9-5-00.)
