713.01  DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this article, the following terms are defined as follows:
   (a)    "Food handling establishment"means and includes all food handling establishments or food vending establishments, or any place, structure, premises, vehicle, or any part thereof, in which any food products intended for human consumption are manufactured or prepared by any manner or means whatsoever, or in which they are stored, served, sold, offered or displayed for sale.
   (b)    "Food products" means and includes any food, confection, beverage or any component used in the preparation, processing or manufacture thereof, intended for ultimate human consumption, stored, being prepared or manufactured for sale, in food handling establishments, as defined in this section.
   (c)    "Food handlers" or "employee" means any person who handles food products during preparation or serving or who comes in contact with any eating or cooking utensils or any other equipment used in the preparation of food products. (1972 Code §8-1)
