Upon complaint, the Municipal Police Court Judge shall have authority to issue a search warrant in connection with the violation of any provision of State law or ordinance of the City. Any search warrant, warrant of arrest or other process issued by the Municipal Police Court Judge may be directed to the Chief of Police or any member of the Police Department of the City and may be executed at any place within the County.

Every person sentenced by the Municipal Police Court Judge of the Municipal Court to imprisonment or to the payment of a fine of ten dollars ($10.00) or more, and in no case shall a fine of less than ten dollars ($10.00) be imposed if the defendant, his agent or attorney objects thereto, shall be allowed an appeal to the Circuit Court of Pleasants County; the procedure upon appeal from the Municipal Court shall be the same as an appeal from a Magistrate's Court. In the event of the temporary absence of the Municipal Police Court Judge from his duties, the Mayor shall appoint a person similarly qualified to serve as Municipal Police Court Judge during such absence without the necessity of Council approval. The compensation of the Temporary Police Court Judge shall be determined by Council.
