(a) The Tree Commission shall consist of five persons, all of whom shall be electors of the City; four shall be appointed by City Council; and one member of Council, who shall be appointed by the Mayor.
(b) The members of the Commission shall serve without compensation and the four members appointed by Council shall serve for a term of three years or until their successors are appointed, provided, however, the first appointments of the members of the Commission shall be for terms of one, two or three years, respectively. The member of Council shall serve on the Commission during his or her continuance in office. (Ord. 1993-2. Passed 8-3-93.)
