137.07 ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEYS.

The City Attorney may recommend and Council appoint one or more practicing attorneys to assist him in the discharge of his official duties for and during his term of office. Such Assistant City Attorneys shall take the same oath and perform the same duties as the City Attorney. The compensation of such assistants shall be paid by the City. (1972 Code §2-11-7)
