(a) No person shall hunt or trap at any time within the corporate limits of the Municipality. The act of hunting or trapping shall be defined as in Ohio R.C. 1531.01.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
(c) Notwithstanding other provisions of this section, hunting may be permitted in certain areas designated by the Director of Public Service & Safety as a Certified Hunting Area upon application of a land owner. Hunting by the land owner and/or his permitted guests as appropriately licensed may conduct hunting within said Certified Hunting Area subject to rules adopted by the Director. (Ord. 2013-30.
